Google Ads That Bring Calls and Sales, Not Just Clicks
Well-structured campaigns in both official languages, honest tracking and a monthly report that shows what your budget actually earned.
Loubane manages Google Ads for Montreal, Quebec and Canadian businesses: Search campaigns, Performance Max, Shopping and, where your category and area are eligible, Local Services Ads. We build separate French and English campaigns, set up conversion tracking for calls, forms and orders, and report cost per lead or return on ad spend in plain language every month.
What Google Ads management is
Google Ads lets your business appear at the top of Google Search, on YouTube, in Gmail, on Google Maps and across partner sites when people are actively looking for what you sell. Management means more than turning ads on: choosing the right campaign types, picking keywords and audiences, writing ads in French and English, setting budgets and bids, tracking real conversions and adjusting every week so money goes where it produces results.
Who it is for in Quebec
Google Ads suits businesses that need leads or sales now, while SEO builds over time: contractors and home services, clinics, law and accounting firms, restaurants, B2B suppliers, and online stores. We work with clients across Montreal, Laval, the South Shore, Quebec City and Gatineau, and with companies advertising across Canada. Because the Quebec market is bilingual, we usually run French and English campaigns separately so each audience sees ads and landing pages in its own language.
Why bilingual campaigns need their own structure
Google matches ads to the language settings and search terms of each user, and it does not translate your ads for you. A single campaign mixing French and English keywords makes it hard to control budgets, messaging and results. We build parallel campaigns with native French copy, not literal translations, because Quebec searchers use their own terms, such as “thermopompe” rather than a direct translation of “heat pump”, and Montreal anglophones often search differently again.
Where wasted spend usually hides
- Broad keywords matching searches for jobs, free advice or do-it-yourself tutorials
- Location settings that show ads to people interested in your area but living far outside it
- Performance Max running without reliable conversion data, so the system optimizes for the wrong actions
- Ads sending traffic to a home page instead of a page that matches the search
- Ads running overnight or on weekends when nobody is available to answer the phone
What is included
- Account audit or setup: structure, settings, location targeting, negative keywords and billing in your own account
- Search campaigns: keyword research in both languages, such as “plombier urgence Laval” and “emergency plumber Montreal”, tightly grouped ad groups and responsive search ads
- Performance Max: for stores and lead-generation businesses with solid conversion tracking, with asset groups, audience signals and a connected Merchant Center feed where relevant
- Shopping: product campaigns powered by a clean Google Merchant Center feed
- Local Services Ads review: Local Services Ads are offered in Canada only for certain categories and areas, and availability in Quebec has been more limited than elsewhere; we check current eligibility for your trade and location before recommending them
- Landing pages: recommendations or builds for fast, bilingual pages with a clear offer and visible phone number
- Conversion tracking: calls, forms, bookings and purchases tracked through Google Ads and GA4, with enhanced conversions where appropriate
- Ongoing optimization: search term reviews, bid strategy adjustments, ad testing and budget pacing
Our process
1. Discover
We learn your services, margins, service area and what a good customer is worth to you, then audit any existing account and tracking.
2. Build
We set up or restructure campaigns, write French and English ads, install conversion tracking and prepare or improve landing pages.
3. Launch
Campaigns go live with conservative budgets and close monitoring during the first weeks while the data builds.
4. Grow
We trim wasted spend, scale what converts, test new ads and campaign types, and meet with you monthly to review results.
Tools and platforms we use
Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile, Looker Studio for reporting and call tracking tools that work with Canadian phone numbers. Accounts and billing stay in your name; we work through manager access you can remove at any time.
Quebec compliance notes
Under the Charter of the French language, as amended by Bill 96, commercial advertising aimed at Quebec must be available in French, and the landing pages behind your ads should have complete French versions. Some regulated sectors have their own advertising rules, for example professions governed by a professional order, and Google applies its own policies to areas such as health, finance and legal services. For tracking, Quebec’s Law 25 calls for transparency and an opt-in approach for technology that identifies, locates or profiles visitors, so we configure consent and Google’s Consent Mode where needed. We flag risks; please confirm legal specifics with your advisor.
We report what you earn, not just clicks
Clicks and impressions are only the start. Every month you receive a plain-language report covering:
- Phone calls, form submissions, bookings and orders from ads
- Cost per lead or cost per acquisition, by campaign and language
- Revenue and return on ad spend for e-commerce
- Search terms that brought customers and those we excluded
- What we changed, what we learned and what we plan next

How it connects with our other services
Ads perform better when the site behind them is fast and convincing, so we often pair campaigns with landing page design or a website refresh. Search term data from ads also reveals what to target with SEO and local SEO, and a clean Merchant Center feed from our e-commerce SEO work feeds Shopping campaigns directly. Many clients combine Google Ads with Meta ads, so Google captures active demand while Facebook and Instagram build awareness and retargeting.

Frequently asked questions
How much should I spend on Google Ads?
It depends on your market, keyword competition, service area and how much a new customer is worth to you. We estimate a realistic starting budget from keyword data during discovery. Ad spend is paid directly to Google and is separate from our management fee.
How quickly will I see results?
Ads can bring traffic within days of launch, but most campaigns need a few weeks of data to optimize well, and two to three months to settle into a stable cost per lead.
Do I need separate French and English campaigns?
In most cases, yes. Google does not translate your ads, and separate campaigns let us control keywords, messaging, budgets and landing pages for each language, while keeping French advertising in place for Quebec.
Who owns the Google Ads account?
You do. The account and billing are in your name, and we work through manager access. If we stop working together, all campaigns, data and history stay with you.
